"Reminds me of an Avecamp"

Going through some of my old analogue prints I found a photo I took in New York city in December, it was snowing and it was getting close to the end of the day, the light gave the picture a quality I really liked. An arty, high brow friend of mine told me "It reminds me of Avecamp". What do you think?
